Continuing Education Credits at the SymposiumAFCEA’s Continuing Education (CE) program is designed to support certifications related to U.S. Federal Government requirements. Many AFCEA courses and conference sessions are now approved to meet CompTIA and GIAC and may also support (ISC) 2 , National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Project Management Institute (PMI), GAGAS, and Defense Acquisition Workforce continuing education and/or certification maintenance requirements.

2. How Do I Obtain Documentation Required to Receive CEU Credit?
- To ensure receipt of documentation of session attendance, stay for the entire session and get your event badge scanned at the close of each session. Documentation will be provided no later than August 1, 2017 by email from AFCEA.

Each GIAC certification remains valid for 4 years. Two years after certification the renewal process will begin, and individuals must maintain their credentials through Continuing Professional Experience (CPE). Credential holders must earn the minimum number of Continuing Professional Experience (CPEs) annually during each year of the three-year certification cycle.
